The new LFD technology was developed to overcome inherent limitations of multi-finger live scanners by applying a machine learning methods that analyzes and categorizes image patterns according to optical characteristics of various possible fake fingerprint materials. With the LFD technology, RealScan Series live scanners effectively eliminates possible fraud using various fake fingerprint materials including clay, rubber, silicon, paper and film.
